Introduction to China New Energy International Summit Forum

Every year China New Energy Chamber of Commerce holds its China New Energy International Forum in Beijing, with the objective of promoting communication and cooperation between the domestic and foreign new energy industries, and facilitating the healthy and rapid development of the Chinese new energy industry. The forum brings together many domestic and foreign government officials, noted entrepreneurs, industry experts and respected scholars in the new energy industry to undertake discussion and interaction on the key issues facing the new energy industry. On January 13, 2007, the First China New Energy International Forum was held at Beijing Diaoyutai State Guesthouse and attracted more than 300 participants from over 40 countries and regions such as China, U.S.A., EU, Spain, Japan and Australia. The successful holding of this forum facilitated valuable communication and cooperation within the industry. At the same time, it attracted a high degree of attention from the attending worldwide media – indeed, from all areas of society – thanks to its focus on new forms of energy, environmental protection, conservation of resources and emissions reduction. The forum has now become the foremost platform for interaction between the senior management of domestic and foreign new energy companies, allowing businesses to arrange meetings, exchange information, reach agreements, offer suggestions, and push forward cooperation and mutual development.
